Traveling to Cuba? Stay in Cuba for $30 per night

Yes really! You can stay in Cuba for about $30 a night or about $210 for the entire week! I visted Cuba last month and found some great places to stay in private homes. The average price was $25 to $35 per night with  private bath rooms. The living area is usually shared.
I visited several of these homes - to confirm they were real - in Havana and Guanamo Beach Cuba. Some of the rentals are old colonial homes with high ceilings and amazing architecture. Check out my other blogs for contact information. http://www.comfycommuter.com/blogs/pillow-talk/where-to-stay-in-cuba-for-under-35-per-night
Hotels run about $200 per night. Tours that include hotels run in the thousands of dollars. However, you can really visit Cuba a small budget if you stay in private homes.
I am not affiliated with these rental homes in any way. My only purpose is to pass on great tips.
Flights to Cuba are chartered for now, but that may change. If you are leaving from Los Angeles, make sure you take one of our travel pillows. I spent time in Tampa before going to Cuba, so I took my travel pillow on my Delta red-eye flight and slept like a baby!
